1. Use of Meetiva
Meetiva provides tools for recording or importing meeting content, generating transcripts, creating AI-generated summaries, extracting decisions and action items, and synchronizing supported meeting data across devices.
You may use Meetiva only in compliance with applicable laws and these Terms.
2. Accounts
Some Meetiva features require an account.
You are responsible for:
- Maintaining access to your account
- Providing accurate account information
- Protecting your authentication credentials
- Activities performed through your account
You must notify us if you believe your account has been compromised.
Signing out is not account deletion. Sign out ends the current session and hides this account’s local notebook on the device; it does not delete the Meetiva account or cloud data.
You can delete your Meetiva account from inside the app under Settings → Account. Account deletion removes the account and associated account-owned cloud data and then removes that account’s local data on this device.
3. Recording and Consent
You are solely responsible for obtaining all permissions and consents required before recording, uploading, transcribing, or processing conversations using Meetiva.
Laws regarding recording and consent vary by jurisdiction.
Meetiva does not determine whether recording a particular conversation is lawful.
4. Your Content
You retain ownership of meeting recordings, transcripts, meeting information, and other content you provide to Meetiva.
You grant Meetiva the limited rights necessary to process your content solely for providing the requested services, such as transcription, summarization, synchronization, storage, and related functionality.
5. AI-Generated Content
Meetiva uses artificial intelligence to generate transcripts, summaries, decisions, action items, and other results.
AI-generated results may:
- Contain errors
- Omit information
- Incorrectly interpret speech
- Incorrectly identify decisions or action items
You should review important information before relying on AI-generated results.
Meetiva should not be used as the sole source for legal, medical, financial, safety-critical, or other high-impact decisions.
AI transcription, summary, and Ask features use third-party processing and can be inaccurate. You remain responsible for reviewing results before relying on them.
6. Acceptable Use
You may not use Meetiva to:
- Violate applicable laws
- Record people unlawfully
- Infringe intellectual property or privacy rights
- Attempt unauthorized access to accounts or systems
- Distribute malware or malicious content
- Abuse or interfere with the service
7. Subscriptions and Payments
Meetiva may offer free and paid features.
If you purchase a subscription through Apple's App Store:
- Payment is processed by Apple
- Subscriptions may automatically renew unless cancelled
- Subscription management and cancellation are handled through your Apple account
- Pricing and available plans may change as permitted by applicable law and App Store rules
Meetiva Pro is available as an auto-renewable monthly subscription and an auto-renewable yearly subscription. The subscription title, length, and price shown in the app before you confirm the purchase are the terms of that subscription.
Any free trial, if offered, will be described before purchase.
Deleting your Meetiva account does not cancel an App Store subscription.
Subscriptions are purchased and managed through Apple. Use your Apple ID subscription settings to cancel or change a subscription.
Refunds for purchases made through the App Store are handled by Apple. To request a refund, use Apple's Report a Problem page or your Apple ID purchase history. Meetiva cannot issue App Store refunds.
8. Service Availability
We aim to provide a reliable service but do not guarantee uninterrupted availability.
Features that depend on internet connectivity, cloud services, or third-party AI providers may occasionally be unavailable.
9. Disclaimers
Meetiva is provided on an "as available" basis to the extent permitted by applicable law.
We do not guarantee that transcripts, summaries, decisions, action items, or other AI-generated results will always be complete or accurate.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Meetiva and its operators will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or similar damages arising from use of or inability to use the service.
Nothing in these Terms excludes rights or liabilities that cannot legally be excluded.
11. Termination
You may stop using Meetiva at any time.
We may restrict or terminate access when reasonably necessary due to violations of these Terms, security threats, abuse, fraud, or legal requirements.
12. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms as Meetiva evolves.
If material changes are made, we will update the "Last Updated" date and provide notice when appropriate.
Continued use after the effective date of updated Terms constitutes acceptance where permitted by applicable law.
